A new NELSAP Regional Coordinator has entered in office today April 14, 2015; Engineer Nyabeeya Elicad Elly. An orientation meeting was held in NELSAP boardroom with all NELSAP and its projects staff. An opening remark by the NELSAP Senior Economist, Mr. Peter Maina Kanyi preceded a self-introduction of NELSAP staff present to the meeting.
This was followed by a welcome note from Mr Remy Mugunga, Technical Advisory Committee (TAC Rwanda). He welcomed the new RC to Kigali, Rwanda ensured him that he shall enjoy his stay in the country. . On behalf of the Technical Advisory Committee members, Mr Mugunga pledged the support of the NELTAC to the new Regional Coordinator any time.
Eng. Nyabeeya reiterated in his introductory remarks that he shall play as a team leadership role to the commendable team of professionals. “We shall need to dedicate more efforts on delivering project results, to increase NELSAP capacity visibility in order to ensure resource mobilization and sustainability”. He appreciated the good work done by the outgoing management and committed to continue building NELSAP in order to achieve its mission.
